​​The Restoration Journey

 

​A boy grew up restoring a mid 50's classic car with his dad. His dad's attention to detail was meticulous because his passion was to restore it to the manufacturer's original specifications. The first step was to gather old brochures, shop manuals and build-sheets produced by the manufacturer for that year and model. Then they traveled a lot, to find other abandoned vehicles with the original parts they needed. It was a lot of dirty hard work, but in the end the restored car was beautiful and meant a lot to the people who remembered the 'good old days'. But without the original specifications, their project car might have looked like one of the customized classic cars of Havana, Cuba.

In a similar but infinitely more Glorious way, God created a beautiful shiny 'New Covenant' with mankind, but said this covenant (and spiritual kingdom) would "Suffer violence and be taken by force" until the time came to restore it all. Several factors led to this subtle yet 'hostile takeover' which led to this confusing 'Christian' mess today. In the same way that rigged elections and lying politicians have caused many to not even vote, some of the finest people on earth can't be bothered going to church or studying the manufacturer's original specifications of the New Covenant. The lack of these "healthy Nathanaels" (John 1:47) in the churches opened the door for many 'customized' versions of the New Covenant to be paraded around like those classic cars in Cuba. (No offence to the owners of the cars)

Despite God's Word being erroneously translated over the centuries by people with nefarious plans, His writings still contain enough of the manufacturer's original specifications for an accurate restoration today. God knew that His enemy would lead people to do this to His Word, so He and His Son spoke in ways to make it impossible to understand what was really being said at times, thus setting many 'traps' and limiting their deletions and perversions over the years. About this Isaiah 28 says, "Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he (Christ) speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken". ​And indeed many have been snared and taken captive by "doctrines of demons" as Paul warned Timothy, because they tried to learn God's Word without being "weaned from the milk and drawn from the breasts".

During the past nearly 2000 years, billions of people have unknowingly "entered through the wide gate", and are on the "wide road" of the Christian faith. And in a way, it hasn't mattered what gate, road, name or doctrine a person is using because God considers our heart when we call upon Him, and because He doesn't judge by what He sees or hears. As well, for nearly 2000 years it's been the "Acceptable year of the Lord", which means regardless of people's doctrine, denomination or details, anyone who desires to please God and calls upon His name should be regarded as precious - for without these people there is no purpose for this creation in God's opinion. Some call on Him using the Hebrew names Yahuah & Yahusha, some use Greek or Latin derivatives, and many say "Jesus". He weighs and considers every heart, so we 'reap back' according to what we sowed in addressing Him. When we sow a heart that pleases Him, we reap Him; and when we sow a heart that mocks or displeases Him, we reap the 'sword' He raised up that His Son said "He came to bring". If at any time we go to Him with a change of heart, He is very quick to accept us and remove this sword's piercing.

However, this 'refining process' and the 'acceptable year' is drawing to a close now, and the "Day of vengeance" is about to begin unfolding. One of the first steps is to restore to people's understanding, what it's like to walk on the "narrow road" that so few people have found. (They have to be given the chance with this understanding) Our Heavenly Father's hope, is that many people will make the transition to the narrow "Way" because they have "Tasted that the Lord is good" during the 'acceptable year'. His restoration is one of the most exciting and yet delicate projects in the history of the world. It's exciting like "Calves being released from the stall", but it's delicate like "a soldering wick or bruised reed" because making changes to the 'legs' under a person's 'table' of beliefs can be very unsettling for them. This is why we created a support system, which you'll read about soon.

And it helps people to know that the Lord God Almighty - the Consuming Fire, clothed Himself with a perfect, and very humble human spirit, which His Son provided when He said, "Father, I commit My spirit into your hands". God did this so He could safely and gently reprove us as we go through life from inside us - which is in stark contrast to the Law of 'sin and death'. About this, the Son of God said, "No man can come to me unless the Father which hath sent me draw him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall be all taught of God'. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me". So as we "listen and learn" from the Father's reproves inside us, there comes a point where the Father 'gives us' to His Son, and we wear His Righteousness, in place of our own. However, sometimes like in Paul's case, the gentle reprove meant knocking him off his high-horse. Regarding that day, Paul said that "God revealed His Son inside Paul", while Paul was still a Christian-hating Saul. Meaning, this deposit was already inside Paul without Paul's invitation, effort or knowledge. When God revealed to Paul that His 'fire clothed in Christ's mercy' was inside Paul, it forever changed his life - and rightly so. Paul's gospel revolved around this experience, as he taught in many words about the "Precious Treasure" placed inside people, saying things like, "Christ in you, the hope of Glory", and "Do not look at anyone as though they are worldly" because they have it in them too. And John talked about this treasure too, saying it's given into us "As we come into this life" - but you have to be careful what translation you use when looking up John 1:9 because they changed it long ago. As you will see, you've always had this deposit working inside you, reproving you and drawing you - if you've been willing. It's the first of several gifts and baptisms that the Father longs to add to all people. (and indeed you might already have some of them)

But over the decades of being trained for this ministry, we found that most people have no idea what the differences are between those two 'gates' and 'roads' that the Son of God talked about. For example, Christians will tell you without hesitation that God raised His only begotten Son back to life after 3 days, and they will also tell you that Yahusha (Jesus) appeared to many people for 40 days before ascending to paradise. Yet, when Christians are asked who said, "Destroy this Temple and I will raise it in 3 days", and "Truly I say to you, this day you will be with me in paradise", 99 % will say "Jesus said it" and only 1% will say, "The Father said it through Jesus". Yes, Jesus's vocal cords vibrated, but it wasn't Jesus's spirit saying it. The Father's spirit spoke through His Son saying He would raise Jesus's temple/body in 3 days. This is the true meaning of  "I believed (properly) therefore I have spoken". But these contradictory responses in the vast majority of Christians indicate that the "secret power of lawlessness" is at work, blinding people about the 'Way', "That leads to eternal life" - which is walking as Christ walked - which so few understand or do.

So we're hoping that our "Storehouse of Information"​ leaves this secret power with "neither root nor branch", so that many people become inspired to do "Vineworks" and even set up their home or other buildings as "Storehouse Outlets".
